Human Rights activists will march during AIDS 2008 to raise awareness of the gap between international commitments – UNGASS, MDGs - and the reality in the response to women and HIV.

With the slogan ‘All women All rights’, the march will raise the visibility of critical rights concerns facing women in the context of HIV and AIDS. In particular, the march will highlight the civil, economic and cultural rights and stigma and discrimination that is still persisting all over the world.

The women march is organised by a coalition of organisations including Mexicanas Positivas, ICW Global, The ATHENA Network, Colectivo Sol and Balance Promoción para el Desarrollo y Juventud. This partnership of international and Mexican organisations will also held the Women Networking Zone in the Global Village during the conference.
