With an infectious enthusiasm for engaging and empowering women to achieve things they would never have believed possible, Julie Dickson is a dynamic role model. Julie is a natural leader and has led from a young age at every level throughout the YWCA of Great Britain.
She brings commitment, vision and most of all fun to every project she is involved with. Julie has an energy, drive and passion to make a positive difference, which shines through and touches lives. Julie always tells young women in the YWCA movement not to be afraid of taking risks and to seize all opportunities.
Julie knows all about taking risks as a Former President of the YWCA of Scotland and Member of the World YWCA Executive Committee and World YWCA Vice-President (2004-2007), she is an inspiration to staff and fellow volunteers and has become a role model for the next generations of girls and young women in the YWCA.
