What does your money do?
Your contribution as a Friend of the World YWCA supports the core work of the organisation, including global advocacy and local programmes that target the root causes of poverty, violence, injustice, stigma and discrimination.

It also enables training for YWCA leaders to develop the most effective solutions to the problems facing their communities; and it helps build organisational capacity to ensure YWCAs have the structures, policies and plans to respond effectively to the needs of local communities.

Our commitment to you
All friends receive updates on our work, as well as opportunities to participate in global campaigns and activities.

You will also receive an annual report on progress towards the World YWCA vision, and a complimentary subscription to our quarterly magazine, Common Concern for annual donations over US $50.
