The Working Group on Girls and UNICEF's Voices of Youth is soliciting the opinions of children about a report released by the Expert Group Meeting on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination and Violence Against the Girl Child.
Available in a youth-friendly version with a facilitator's guide for those who wish to conduct focus groups with children on the issue, the report outlines the strategies and recommendations made by the expert group on how to protect girls and improve their lives. An online questionnaire is also included and responses collected by the January 30 deadline will be presented at the 51st Commission on the Status of Women in New York in February-March 2007.
