International YWCA of Scotland sends message of hope to YWCA of Palestine
YWCA of Scotland keep hope alive for the YWCA of Palestine
Over 30 staff and members of YWCA Scotland took time out from a training day to send a message of hope and support to YWCA Palestine

The message was strong and clear. "Scotland is thinking about you. There has been a public outcry here about the injustices and suffering of ordinary Palestinians. We hope that all suffering will end soon and that long lasting peace, justice and freedom is restored in Palestine."

YWCAs around the world, including associations in Fiji, Peru, Costa Rica, Jordan, Brazil, Guyana, Japan, Denmark and Norway, have held candlelight vigils to commemorate the lives lost in the Gaza War and to call for peace.

World YWCA joined millions of people and organisations in condemning the force and impact of Israel's attack on Gaza. The World YWCA calls for peace and security in the region, and the protection of women and children.
