On 12th August, the World Alliance of YMCAs and the World YWCA will join governments, youth organisations, and young people all over the world in celebrating International Youth Day. This special day has been observed every year since 2000, following a declaration made by the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) in 1999. This year, the theme is: “Sustainability: Our Challenge. Our Future.”
