Get Prepared for World YWCA Council 2007
Resources for YWCAs, voting delegates, observers and participants
Why 2 World Councils in one year?
The business of the World Council will be held in 2 segments: an Extraordinary World Council 3-4 July; and the 2007 World Council 4-11 July, including the International Women's Summit 4-7 July.
The Extraordinary World Council will convene according to the current World YWCA Constitution and Bye-Laws, and will vote on a proposed revised Constitution for the World YWCA. After the Extraordinary World Council adjourns, the 2007 World Council business meeting will convene according to the Constitutional changes adopted by the Extraordinary World Council.
This is the place for YWCAs, delegates, observers and participants to download mailings about WC 2007 and the IWS, and to find other resources to study and discuss before coming to Nairobi.
